Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

From account holders: name, email, company name, and website domain. From website visitors who use the chat widget: the messages they send, and technical context such as browser user agent, referrer, and the page they are chatting from. Identified visitor details (name, email) are only stored when your website passes them to us with a valid cryptographic signature.

2. How we use it

To run the chat service: delivering messages between visitors and your team, showing conversation history, and sending the notification emails you configure. We do not sell personal data or use conversation content for advertising.

3. Cookies and storage

The chat widget stores a visitor session token in its own iframe storage — it does not set third-party cookies on your website. The ForeverChat dashboard uses a single session cookie to keep agents logged in.

4. Retention and deletion

Conversation history is retained according to the limits of your plan. Account owners can request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting support.

5. Contact

Questions about this policy: privacy@foreverchat.co. If you are a visitor who chatted on a customer’s website, that customer is the controller of your conversation data — contact them first.
